Champagne for Cocktails & Celebrations

Explore Drinkero's selection of Champagne chosen for cocktails and elegant sparkling serves. Crisp, complex and finely sparkling, Champagne brings freshness, acidity and refined bubbles to some of the world's most celebrated cocktails.

Champagne for Cocktail Making

Dry Champagne works particularly well in cocktails because its bright acidity and fine carbonation balance spirits, citrus and sweetness. Brut styles are especially versatile, adding sparkling character without making the finished drink overly sweet.

Classic Champagne Cocktails

  • French 75 — gin, lemon, sugar and Champagne.
  • Champagne Cocktail — Champagne, sugar and aromatic bitters.
  • Mimosa — Champagne and orange juice.

Our French 75 Choice

For a classic French 75, Drinkero recommends a dry Brut Champagne. Its crisp acidity and fine bubbles balance the gin, fresh lemon and sugar while keeping the cocktail bright and elegant.

Champagne or Prosecco?

A traditional French 75 is made with Champagne, but a good dry Prosecco can also work well. Champagne creates a drier, more complex and classic serve, while Prosecco typically gives the cocktail a softer, fruitier character.

Selected for Cocktail Making

Drinkero focuses on Champagnes that have a clear purpose in cocktail recipes as well as being enjoyable on their own. Our selection prioritises dry, versatile styles suited to sparkling cocktails and celebratory serves.
