What Is Raspberry Liqueur?

Raspberry liqueur is a sweet, fruit-forward spirit flavoured with raspberries and other complementary botanicals or fruits. Depending on the producer, the flavour can range from bright and fresh to deeper, richer black raspberry notes.

Unlike raspberry syrup, raspberry liqueur contains alcohol and brings both flavour and structure to a cocktail. Only a relatively small measure is usually needed.
