WHAT MAKES A GOOD SARTI SPRITZ?

A great Sarti Spritz starts with the classic 3-2-1 ratio: three parts Prosecco, two parts Sarti Rosa and one part soda water. Sarti Rosa brings the cocktail's distinctive tropical fruit and citrus flavours, while dry Prosecco adds freshness and lively bubbles. Plenty of ice keeps the drink cold, and a fresh lime slice adds a bright citrus aroma. For the best result, use well-chilled ingredients and stir only gently to preserve the carbonation.

SARTI SPRITZ: RECIPE, INGREDIENTS & TIPS

A practical guide to making a Sarti Spritz, from choosing the right Prosecco and soda water to balancing Sarti Rosa's fruity character with fresh citrus and lively bubbles.

INGREDIENT GUIDE

THE BEST INGREDIENTS FOR A SARTI SPRITZ

The defining ingredient is Sarti Rosa, an Italian pink aperitivo with notes of blood orange, mango and passion fruit. Its fruity character makes the Sarti Spritz a refreshing alternative to more bitter Italian Spritz cocktails.

For a well-balanced drink, we recommend pairing Sarti Rosa with Mionetto Prosecco Treviso Brut DOC. The dry sparkling wine balances the aperitivo's sweetness while keeping the cocktail crisp and refreshing. Finish with Fever-Tree Premium Soda Water and a fresh lime slice.

HOW TO BALANCE A SARTI SPRITZ

The easiest way to remember a Sarti Spritz recipe is the 3-2-1 ratio: 90 ml Prosecco, 60 ml Sarti Rosa and 30 ml soda water. This combination gives the cocktail its characteristic fruity flavour without making it overly sweet.

Choose a dry Brut Prosecco rather than a sweeter sparkling wine, and make sure both the wine and soda water are well chilled. If you prefer a lighter, less intense Spritz, add a little extra soda water to taste.

Origins

ORIGINS OF THE SARTI SPRITZ

The Sarti Spritz is a modern Italian aperitivo serve built around Sarti Rosa, a vibrant pink aperitivo from Italy.

It follows the familiar Italian Spritz format of combining an aperitivo with sparkling wine and soda water. Sarti Rosa gives the drink a distinctly fruitier profile, with tropical and citrus notes creating a modern alternative to more traditionally bitter Spritzes.

HOW TO MAKE IT

HOW TO MAKE IT. BUILD, TOP & STIR

The Sarti Spritz is built directly in a large wine glass. Fill the glass generously with ice, then add chilled Prosecco and Sarti Rosa before topping with soda water.

Stir gently to combine the ingredients while preserving the carbonation. Avoid vigorous stirring, which can flatten the Prosecco and soda water.

Finish with a fresh lime slice to add a bright citrus aroma that complements the fruity aperitivo.

HOW TO SERVE A SARTI SPRITZ

Serve the Sarti Spritz in a large wine glass filled generously with ice. The larger glass provides enough room for the 180 ml drink, plenty of ice and the fresh lime garnish.

Serve immediately while the Prosecco and soda water are cold and sparkling.
